Ed Balls MP Visits new Stammering Support Centre
Staff at the new Stammering Support Centre in Chapeltown, Leeds, were delighted to welcome Member of Parliament and Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer, Ed Balls,on 15 July, where he chatted with staff, parents and clients.
Ed is a local West Yorkshire MP representing the Leeds and Wakefield constituency of Morley and Outwood. With the special insight gained from managing his own stammer, Edhas given tremendous help and support to the charity and in particular to establishing the new service for the Yorkshire and Humberside region.
The team in Leeds has made tremendous progressover the last three or four months and we continue to work together to grow the range of services and the number of children who can benefit from them.
We are enormously grateful to our donors whose support is crucial to our efforts to ensure that children and young people in the Yorkshire and Humberside regions are able to access the specialist services that can so often truly change their lives.
